SAE washers or high tensile washers, in the size range of 1/4" to 3", can also be available in plain or Dacromet finishes.

When SAE washers or high tensile washers are specified as "Plain/Dacromet," it means that these washers can be available with either a plain finish (without any coating) or a Dacromet finish (with a Dacromet coating) depending on the specific requirements or preferences of the application.
Both plain and Dacromet finishes have their advantages, and the choice between the two depends on factors such as the level of corrosion resistance needed, environmental conditions, and the desired appearance of the finished product.
